Coach Erick Gossage

Coach Gossage was born and raised in Colorado Springs.  He graduated from Coronado High School and played football at Fort Lewis College on a full scholarship.  Coach Gossage has been teaching at Roosevelt Charter School (District 11) since August 1995. Coach Gossage has coached football since 1992.  He started at Fort Lewis College as the offensive line coach.  Coach Gossage has also coached at Coronado High School, Wasson High School, Watson Junior High School, Palmer High School, and Sand Creek High School.  Coach Gossage was at Liberty High School for two years as the offensive and defensive line coach before becoming the Head Coach in 2018.

How many years coaching?  This is my 11th year coaching high school football. 


How many years of coaching at Liberty?  This is year 7 with Liberty


What position/s do you coach?  This year I coach Running Backs. Because of prior experience I will help the JV offensive line on game days and I assist with outside linebackers when necessary.


Favorite part of coaching?  My favorite part of coaching is building relationships with the students and my fellow coaches. 


Favorite snack/food and drink? Snickers and Dr. Pepper.

Favorite part of coaching? My favorite part about coaching is being able to have a positive impact on our players athletic journey and watching them celebrate their successes along the way!

Favorite part of coaching: Seeing everyone’s passion and love for the game grow. The bigger the community is involved the great the experience for players, students, parents and coaches. Making Football big is the funnest part of coaching. #SCOREMORE
